Our Story
Mental Health and Skin Cancer Awareness are two topics that are taken very seriously in our household.
Shannon and I, Sharlie, have both suffered with chronic anxiety and depression throughout our journey's into adulthood. Our focus on conquering mental health struggles to improve our own lives means we have learned how to care for our minds and our bodies better. While taking on this self-transformation task we had set, we were led to the devastating skin cancer discovery, and Shannon was diagnosed with nodular malignant melanoma in 2024.

This was definitely a huge wake up call for us both and made us realise that we really didn't know anyone who spoke about the importance of either of these topics. It also reminded us just how precious life is. With this came new battles with mental health, but we fought to stay positive for our children and one another.

We strive to create more awareness around both of these topics and normalise men talking about their own mental health and feeling safe to reach out to ask for help.
